DLINK COVR SET UP :
D-link covr can be configured easily using D-link WiFi app or manually using web interface address http://covr.local.
1. DLINK COVR SETUP USING DLINK WIFI APP :
Step 1: Download D-link wifi app from google play store or from the app store in case of ios devices
Step 2: Open the D-link wifi app, click on install the device option, select D-link covr device which you want to configure.
Step 3: Create a new network name for D-link covr or you can continue using default network name and wifi password.
Step 4: Follow on-screen instructions to complete set up for d-link covr.

2. DLINK COVR SETUP USING DLINK WEB ADDRESS HTTP://COVR.LOCAL
Step 1: Power on your D-link covr close to internet company modem. Wait for the lights on D-link covr to turn on.
Step 2: Open a web browser and type http://covr.local in the address bar of your browser. A login screen will appear, use default login password as blank
Step3: Follow onscreen instructions to complete set up of D-link covr.

It is a tri band AC2200 Wi-Fi system that covers the network range for the entire home. COVR-2202 AC2200 Tri Band Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi System’s two units come equipped with high-power amplifiers covering up to 6,000 sq. ft with ultra high-speed Wi-Fi. But this device lacks in malware protection and parental control.

You can easily control and manage your router settings via mobile App and also these settings can be managed and monitored at covr.local. You have to first perform Dlink covr setup for accessing the settings at covr.local or at mobile app. It works well with the following browsers:

Dlink Covr C2202 is best suited for 4K video streaming, downloading, surfing, playing games, and watching online content at very high speed network. It is possessed with smart roaming feature that means it will provide full internet access at each and every corner while roaming from home to home.
It transfers data at a rate of 2.2 gigabits per second. The system comprises of 2 Gigabit LAN ports, On/Off button, a power jack and a WPS button on the side. You can also guess about your network whether it is working or not just by looking at the LED backlit Covr badge on the front of each node. When white light glows tan it means that the network speed is strong and high. When this white light starts blinking then it means that a weak connection is going on. In case of red light it means node is booting up and in case of orange light it means that setup is going on.
DLINK COVR SETUP (WEB BASED INSTALLATION)
Dlink covr setup is just like other router’s setup with an easy and quick installation. Just after that you have to remember the credentials as set by you during the Dlink Covr Setup.
- Use an Ethernet cable to connect your modem and dlink covr C2202. Now using the power adapter plug in the Covr power point to the power outlet or source.
- Wait for it to boot up and wait till the orange light blinks. Now connect your computer wirelessly using the SSID network name. This wifi name is printed on the back of the device and also you can get this name in the installation card you got along with the device.
- Now open your web browser and type Covr.local I the address bar.
- Now just type in the configuration credentials as per your choice. You can also go for the default id and password fields as “admin” and “blank”.
- Click Login. Now you have logged in to covr.local. It’s all done and your device is ready to use.
- In case your Covr.local web page does not open then you can also type the default IP address 192.168.0.1.
